Make sure the process for a reader to access your website from your blog is effortless. Add links to other pages (your store page, for example) within your article to keep the reader on your website.

While there are ways you can find them through paid services (more on that later), creating content surrounding your industry or your products and services will draw followers in. Even if your market is niche, you will find a following with consistency and unique, quality content. Customer service and engagement can all be done from social media (or by using an easy customer support software), and this does nothing but help cultivate your community. Grow and groom it, and they’ll give you some love in return.

Historical refreshes of content is a good thing, especially if some of your content has expired. Note, this does not mean re-doing your content; simply refreshing it to bring it current if it isn't already evergreen content. Look at ways you can update outdated content on your site to drive more traffic through visibility on search engines like Google.


A lot to take on (I would know) but has the potential to pay off in a huge way if you really commit to it. To summarize, you need to figure out why a virtual summit is the right venue, what your topic will be, and who you’re going to network with to make it happen. You’ll need thought leaders, influencers, teams, businesses, bloggers, anyone who already has a committed audience and a distinct POV who will add value to an event like this.
Before you say it – no, true guest blogging isn’t dead, despite what you may have heard. Securing a guest post on a reputable site can increase blog traffic to your website and help build your brand into the bargain. Be warned, though – standards for guest blogging have changed radically during the past eighteen months, and spammy tactics could result in stiff penalties. Proceed with caution.

Provide useful information and links to pages on your website where they can learn more, such as through blog posts and landing pages for particular offers. Just make sure that you don`t continually bombard your readers with emails or your customers will either disengage with, delete, or unsubscribe from your emails.
